Swervedriver “Son of Mustang Ford”
Been listening to a lot of Swervedriver today. Not sure why. Oh yeah, cuz they’re awesome.
At this rate, Nuggets Of The Future will eventually have posted every song from Swervedriver’s first album, Raise. As it is, this is the fourth, which puts us at the halfway point (if you don’t count the directionless instrumental at the end of the LP). And of course, it’s another song about driving to escape problems. That must have been a big part of Adam Franklin’s life in 1991.
Now if someone could just provide us with the opportunity to reblog “Pile Up” and “Sci Flyer,” we’ll really be in business.
